F/W 2000 Prada Tweed Jacket
The 2000 fall winter collection from Prada revolved around the idea of a classic, sophisticated woman's wardrobe. Materials like tweed, cashmere or fur were present throughout the show which reinterpreted the style of the 1940's.
This jacket is made of tweed in a mix of red, white and brown, and features a hook and eye closure and two zip pockets on front, as well as a scarf-style collar. The trimmings and zip pulls are made of lambskin.
This design is quite rare and unusual, and was not featured in the runway show.
