1991 Nirvana "Sliver" T-Shirt *BNIB*

Astoundingly rare, brand new in bag example, of one of vintage's most notorious t-shirts, the Nirvana Sliver.

This t-shirt was released to promote Nirvana's single "Sliver" released in 1990 as a non-album single.

Given that these t-shirts were distributed by UK's division of Brockum it is safe to think that they were released for sale in 1991, following the British release of Sliver.

A cult classic for many reasons, the Sliver tee is one of the most well known vintage band tees in the market.

 The t-shirt has an interesting connection with Hip-Hop, being famously worn by Pimp C in UGK's "Use Me Up" music video in 1992.

It features the single's fantastic artwork in front with "Sliver" written on the back.

This example is in perfect brand new in bag condition, almost inexplicably the t-shirt stood the test of time and has no signs of dry rot whatsoever, as well as no fading of the fabric or print at all, the tee is as good as it was 31 years ago.

This t-shirt has been thoroughly tested for dry rot (tug test & machine wash test) and it is completely fine with no signs of degradation whatsoever.
