There was a time, long ago, in which Italian sportswear manufacturers deemed approppiate to use silk yarn for their sport-performance products, such as tennis polos, base layers or even socks. This balaclava comes from that golden era of unintentional opulence and made by none other than Ermenegildo Zegna.

Most likely designed to be worn under a helmet it is uncertain if the purpose of this balaclava was to be used by skiers or even better, race drivers.

100% silk balaclava in navy with contrast red stitching along the front of the face.

Very good condition, the color has faded a bit to a washed navy.
